This week's podcast is one of my favorites. Ok, I probably will and do say this about all of them, but it's true! I'm so blessed to get to talk to some phenomenal folks living life wholeheartedly.

I've known Rob Stennett for over 19 years and he has been a friend who's sure to bring a laugh into the conversation. He's always been down to earth, but now married with 4 girls he's gained even more wisdom.

He writes here and recently published his 5th book, though this newest one is his first one sharing about real life experiences as a dad. The Perfect Dad; a Totally Achievable Guide to Not Messing Up Your Kids is a fun and inspiring read. I laughed, cried and felt encouraged in my parenthood woes. There are some practical parenting tips and ideas to support my husband in his role as a dad.

Rob divides the role of fatherhood into 12 different jobs. He sought out experts in each of these fields to gain wisdom and insight on how he could live these roles out better with his family. I personally am grateful for all the leg work he did on our behalf!

So, after you listen to this encouraging interview be sure to go buy Rob's book for every parent on your list.  Then you can print off this fun sheet about the 12 Roles of Fatherhood here. Tape it up or put it in your journal to encourage and pray for your husband as he works on this very important role.
